Maryam Mursal (born 1950) is a famous musician and singer from Somalia, residing in exile in Denmark. In this interview which was recorded after her performance at a festival in the town Haderslev in Denmark in July 2006, she explains that music is not forbidden according to Islam. “Music is good.
