Film med Freemuse Award modtager

Tiken Jah Fakoly, som modtog Freemuse Award 2008, er en af hovedpersonerne i en ny dokumentarfilm, ‘An Independent Mind’ — som handler om ytringsfrihed og om hvor langt mennesker i forskellige lande er parat til at gå for at forsvare den.

Filmens instruktør, Rex Bloomstein, vil være til stede, når filmen for f&oslahs;rste gang vises i Danmark ved et arrangement i LitteraturHaus, Møllegade 7 i København på søndag den 26. oktober kl. 14–17. Filmen varer halvanden time.

Rex Bloomstein har samarbejdet med blandt andre Freemuse om filmen. Den beskriver forskellige former for kunstnerisk censur i lande som Burma, Kina og Elfenbenskysten.

Dansk PEN står for arrangementet, som har titlen 'Den 25. time – An Independent Mind'. Entré 40 kroner. Læs mere på pen.dk/arrangementer
