The band Pasajeros was formed in 1991 in Medellin which is the second largest town in Colombia. Three members of the band — Leonardo Rúa, Hernán Rúa and Roland Higuita — were imprisoned in June 2004, accused of promoting terrorism. They were released after six months, and soon after went into exile in Europe.
The lyrics of Pasajero’s songs reflect on human rights issues, conflicts and incidents that have occured in the Colombian society. Their music contains influences from the Andean rhythms and elements of jazz, rock and blues.

The video clip is produced by Barrio Bajo for Freemuse. It contains archive footage of the two local television stations of Medellin, Tele Antioquia and Tele Medellin, and music by Pasajeros and BSC (Bellavista Social Club). It was recorded in May 2007.
